Typing involves efficient co-ordination between your brain and your fingers. Once the brain registers the relative position of the letters on the keyboard the entire process of typing becomes part of your sub-concious mind. Its just like how we learned to write. In the intial phase its advised to repeat each letter of a word in the back of the mind as you type the words. As you would start typing frequently you would realise that your fingers would type out the words without your brain having to put undue stress on each letter of it. Learning to type is just a matter of few hours of practice. 30min everyday for 10 days should be enough for your brain to register the layout of keyboard. Increasing your typing speed is just a matter of practice after that. Learning typing might get boring but remember you would be doing this
only once in your lifetime for saving hours on typing in future.
